They Echo is a haunted house horror film about the link between trauma, memory and ghosts, told through the fragmented relationship between an African immigrant mother and her first generation daughter. Trevi returns to her childhood home to care for Ester, her dying mother, and is confronted by George and Marie, the ghosts of her family's sins.
