Short Horror Open Casting Call

We’re casting for our upcoming short horror film ‘Fresh Meat’ shooting in Toronto, Ontario.

A young woman starts a new staff writing job at a cutthroat media company and uncovers their disturbing secret to success. 

We’ll be shooting for 3 days in late March/early April. This is a non-union shoot in compliance with COVID-19 safety guidelines. Honorarium provided.

Nia - Black. Woman. Late 20s- Early 30s. Natural hair and smile for every situation. Our lead is eager to prove herself at this new job, but not so eager she doesn’t notice how weird this place is. 

Genevieve - White. Woman. Late 20s - Early 30s. Think blunt bob and red lipstick. Genevieve is the team lead and go between for Head Office. And a bit too happy to be here. 

Jamal. Black. Man. Mid - Late 20s. A stylish femme gay man, exhausted, overworked and underpaid.
